In atmosphere of theater society , which has based on script , Leev Theater Group laid emphasis on performance as its base . Mohammad Hassan Madjooni , Maryam Majd & Neda Razavi Pour organized this group . Leev Theater Group started its works in 1998 with training activities & considering those plays , that had more visual aspects , and could be performed . But its public performances have begun since 2002 .

Exclusivity Of This Group :

1. Re-reading & dramaturgy of different plays .

2. More emphasis on actor / actress as principal basis of performance , and on his / her body and bodily presence on the stage .

3. Minimal designing .

4. Considering ‘woman’ as a commanding theme in its works .

In August 2008 , Leev Theatre Group was selected as the " Chosen Group
of 2008 " in a celebration by Critics of the House of Theatre , due to
its effort towards research activities in Theatre and recieved the
" Nooshin Award " .
